As a tribute to the Hurricanes Katrina and Rita affected areas they will also perform Blues and Folk songs from Louisiana, Mississippi and the south which means they will perform songs from the 20’s and 30’s as well.

Desire Street Ministries is in a rebuilding phase as their community, located at the Desire Street Projects in New Orleans, experienced some of the most severe flooding. Desire Street is locating and has located community members made homeless, mostly at risk teenagers, all across the south. They operate a multi-purpose building, the KidsFirst Health Clinic and Desire Street Academy (a junior high and high school). All of which has been severely damaged. Currently, they have relocated to Destin, Florida and they have reopened their school in Pensacola, Florida at a campsite. You can read about their good work on their website.
